Duty free is the system of sales at retail outlets that are exempt from the payment of certain local or national taxes and duties, allowing to reduce the price of the featured goods. According to the Customs Code goods cannot be imported to the domestic market and can be sold exclusively to those customers, who are leaving the territory of Georgia.
To purchase goods in duty free, you need to be a passenger leaving the territory of Georgia (by plane or by vehicle).
MyDutyFree is a service for pre-ordering goods in duty-free stores at border checkpoints in Georgia. Currently, the service is available in the duty-free store at the Kazbegi-Upper Lars checkpoint. Using the service, before crossing the border, you can obtain relevant and comprehensive information, concerning the price and availability of the goods, offered in duty free store, as well as place a pre-order for the required goods at a discount of 5%.
A pre-order at mydutyfree.net allows you to plan your purchase in duty-free in advance, get a discount and save your time at the border checkpoint.
Choose goods you’d like to buy, enter the approximate time when you’ll arrive at the checkpoint, and place your preorder. The information about your pre-order will be forwarded to staff in "Belamarket Helen&Valery" shop. By the time you arrive in the shop, your order will have already been put together for you.
Payment is carried out at the shop.
To make a pre-order on our website, choose items from the range of products on the site and add them to your cart. Having chosen items, go to your cart, enter your name, approximate time of arrival at a border checkpoint and contact information and click the "Checkout" button. Please note: in order to use the service and get a discount, you have to make a pre-order not earlier than 48 hours and no later than 2 hours before the approximate time of arrival at the checkpoint. Information about your order will be sent to your e-mail address.
To edit your order, please, contact our customer support via email support@mydutyfree.net. If you want to refuse from certain items in your order, tell the cashier directly in the store. For the goods that you add to the order in the store at the checkpoint, unfortunately, the discount is not applied.
You can pick up your order in the duty-free store at the checkpoint that you have selected when placing your pre-order. Contact the cashier at the MyDutyFree pickup point - to receive the order, tell the name you have specified when placing your order, or the order number.
Payment is made after you have checked items from your order at MyDutyFree pickup point in the store. The price of the goods is set in euros, but you can pay in: USD, RUB, GEL (Georgian lar), TRY (Turkish lira), AMD (Armenian dram), AZN (Azerbaijani manat). The cost of the goods in another currency is calculated according to the rate of this currency in euros, which is set on the day of sale. Duty-free stores at checkpoints also accept cards of the following payment systems: Visa, Mastercard.
Mydutyfree.net provides 5% discount on all goods displayed on the site, except promotional items, as well as items with the price below 5 EUR and tobacco products.
Currently partner discounts are not available for stores at border checkpoints.
In order to place a pre-order, registration at mydutyfree.net is required. This will allow you to cancel your order, view purchase history and create a wishlist.
Registration also simplifies making a pre-order.
You can sign-in via accounts on social networking sites, such as Google+ or Facebook.
The store has such restrictions on the purchase:
- Cigarettes: no more than 5 blocks of cigarettes from the whole range.
- Alcohol, sweets, tea, coffee, perfumery: no more than 5 items of the same product (the number of different products in the purchase is not unlimited).
